Turf Specialist/Agronomist

What You’ll Do

  • Lead natural turf operations across Eastern Massachusetts
  • Oversee new field construction, renovations, and site work
  • Manage foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Train team members and ensure projects stay on time and on budget
  • Operate specialized equipment and apply fertilizers/pesticides
  • Handle irrigation installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Work both in the field and in the office using Microsoft Office, Teams, BlueBeam, and scheduling tools

Educational Requirements

  • B.S. in Turfgrass Science
  • CSFM certification

Special Requirements

·         CSFM – Certified Sports Field Manager

·         A valid driver’s license; CDL B preferred

·         Massachusetts Pesticide license – Cat. #37/commercial  (other licenses in N.E. a plus)

·         Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License 2a/1C license (other licenses in N.E. a plus)

·         DOT Medical Card
