Equipment/Shop Manager
Pine Needles Lodge & Golf, a championship facility known for its history and current charm, is seeking a motivated, qualified, and professional individual to take on the position of Turf Equipment Manager for their golf course maintenance department. The responsibilities of this position include the performance of all the equipment and tools along with an organized shop and inventory which includes recording all maintenance and repairs. The candidate should be able to diagnose and repair issues with diesel, gas and small engine (2-cycle) along with hydraulic and electrical systems. The Equipment Manager must have good communication skills with staff and will report to Golf Course Superintendent and Head Equipment Manager.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma and some technical college/training preferred.
Experience Requirements
5 years mechanical and 3 years of turf reels experience or more preferred. Pay is determined by the amount of experience.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on occasion and welding/fabrication skills will be needed at times.
