Overview
Bridgesong is a planned 1,000-acre golf club and residential community located in Blanchard, Oklahoma. The goal of the project is to bring a world-class golf, residential, and lifestyle experience to central Oklahoma. The development is anchored by a championship golf course and a thoughtfully planned community that emphasizes craftsmanship, land stewardship, and long-term legacy.
Golf course construction is currently underway, with grassing scheduled to begin in late spring 2026, construction and grassing completed by late summer of 2026, and a grand opening planned for June of 2027.
This is a rare opportunity for a motivated turf professional to join an experienced leadership team and participate in the construction, grow-in, and opening of a premier new golf course while helping establish a long-term maintenance operation from the ground up.

Position Summary
The Assistant Superintendent will play a vital role in the success of the Golf Course Maintenance Operations at Bridgesong. This individual will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing all agronomic and operational practices required to successfully grow-in and maintain a championship golf course.
The position reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and works closely with the Senior Assistant Superintendent to consistently provide exceptional playing conditions.
This position provides the opportunity to gain meaningful experience during the construction and grow-in of a new golf course while helping build the maintenance operation that will support the club for years to come.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintendent and Senior Assistant with daily golf course maintenance operations
- Perform and oversee routine golf course maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with management to plan and schedule maintenance activities for the team
- Utilize maintenance software to schedule work, track labor inputs, and manage operational data
- Supervise and train maintenance staff on daily assignments and special projects while maintaining high quality standards
- Assist with the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, including pesticide and fertilizer applications and required recordkeeping
- Participate in greens management programs, including moisture management and data collection
- Support irrigation system monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Monitor turf health and scout for pests, disease, and weeds
- Assist in executing agronomic programs that support optimal turf performance
- Serve as a liaison between management and the maintenance team to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow

Educational Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma required
· Bachelor’s Degree in Turfgrass Management, Plant Science, or related field preferred
· Turfgrass certificates or Associate’s Degrees will be considered
· At least 2 years of experience in a high-quality golf maintenance operation preferred
· Recent graduates with strong internship, apprenticeship, or AIT program experience will be considered
· Experience with new golf course construction, irrigation installation, or grow-in operations is highly valued, though not required
