Golf Course Superintendent
The Golf Club of Houston is excited to announce an opening for the Tournament Course Superintendent position.
The Golf Club of Houston is a semi-private golf club northeast of Houston. The club contains two 18-hole courses; The Member and Tournament Course. The Tournament Course was designed by Rees Jones and served as the home for the PGA’s Houston Open for 17 years, and 2024 LIV Golf Houston Tournament.
Upcoming Project: Member Course greens renovation along with Tripp Davis Design will begin June 2026, this position will be heavily involved with the process.
This position will work daily with the Director of Agronomy and Member Course Superintendent to ensure the Clubs high standards and expectations are being met.

Educational Requirements
- 2 or 4 year degree in related field required
Experience Requirements
- Supervise staff, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be a team player and work well with others
- Efficient in crew scheduling/routing
- Proficient in irrigation software (Toro Site Pro)
- Possesses or be able to obtain a Texas pesticide license within 90 days
