Equipment/Shop Manager
Who is Texas Land Care?
First and foremost, we are a service company that is hyper-focused on the customer experience. We strive to provide first-class service to all clients and to be the obvious “best” contractor in any conversation. Secondly, we are industry-leading experts in landscape construction and maintenance. We specialize in the biggest and baddest, most complex 1-of-1 projects and are sought out internationally to provide our services on projects in and around the Dallas area.
How is that relevant to the Mechanic position?
Our fleet drives our production, keeps us on schedule, and is our first impression. You look good, you feel good, you produce results. We pride ourselves on our equipment, jobsite, and crew presentation.
What qualities are we looking for in a candidate?
Ownership. If not anything else, understand this: Becoming an advocate for your company, their culture, and owning your role with pride without excuse or concern for anything but your team, will lead to opportunities, promotions, and fulfillment. Ownership is what we all have at TLC; that is the baseline entry requirement. The bottom line is, the knowledge to do your job and do it well is trainable, but being passionate enough to own your role is intangible.
What’s in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: 80 hours of paid vacation after 90 days, 120 hours after completing 5 years. A weekly paycheck. 7 paid holidays off: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Health insurance. Dental insurance. Vision insurance. Life insurance. 401(k). And the opportunity to become part of a great company culture.
