Golf Course Mechanic
Lake Shore Country Club is looking for an experienced mechanic to help maintain golf course equipment. We are a 27 hole, busy semi-private course located in Greece, NY with plans to restructure to an 18-hole course by 2027.
Hours flexible for the right candidate. Position can be full time or part time.
Starting pay is negotiable and based on experience.
Small engine repair or golf course equipment experience is preferred.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Ability to lift 65 pounds and to work in various weather conditions.
- Preventive maintenance, repair and upkeep of all equipment, including reel mowers, rotary mowers, tractors and maintenance vehicles.
- Regular service and lubrication of equipment.
- Maintain sharp and well adjusted cutting units at all times, including reel and bedknife grinding.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as gasoline and diesel small engines.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop.
- Possible golf course maintenance as needed.
Experience Requirements
Small engine repair or golf course equipment experience is preferred.
