Position Overview

The Irrigation Project Manager is a key leadership role within Twebb Irrigation. This person will be responsible for estimating and bidding irrigation jobs, overseeing project execution, coordinating materials, and serving as the in-house technical expert. You’ll work closely with leadership and play a critical role in both the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the business. This role will be based out of job sites and remote, with flexibility to work from our Fort Myers office until a new satellite office is established in the Bonita Springs area.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare bids and estimates for irrigation projects of varying scope and size.

  • Oversee daily operations of 2–3 field crews, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to company standards.

  • Order and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for each project.

  • Provide technical expertise on irrigation systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.

  • Train and guide crews on irrigation best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental guidelines.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Collaborate directly with leadership to support overall business growth.
     

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Previous experience in irrigation management, estimating, or a related field.

  • Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, installation, and repair

  • Ability to read site plans and translate them into accurate bids and project scopes.

  • Proven ability to oversee crews and manage job sites effectively.

  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Irrigation license or certification preferred, but not required (company will support training/licensing if needed).
