We provide high-quality lawncare programs for over 9,000 residential and commercial customers including college campuses, athletic facilities, and residential properties. Position Overview

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing customer relationships, generating new business, and delivering accurate lawn care recommendations. This includes evaluating properties, building proposals, closing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and service coordination. This role is essential to delivering an industry-leading customer experience- from the first inquiry through long-term account retention.

This position is well suited for candidates who are:

· Turf professionals looking to transition into a sales-focused role
· Experienced in lawn care, landscaping, or pesticide application
· Individuals with prior sales or account management experience
· Strong communicators who are organized, responsive, and customer-focused

Industry knowledge is highly valued, but attitude, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with customers are just as important.

Key Responsibilities

· Evaluate residential and commercial properties and provide lawn care recommendations
· Generate proposals, pricing, and service plans
· Close sales and follow up with prospective customers
· Manage and retain existing customer accounts through strong service and communication
· Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally
· Upsell additional services where appropriate
· Assist with scheduling and service coordination
· Support shop/retail sales when needed
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity

Performance Expectations

Performance evaluations are conducted at least twice per year and are based on:

· Total sales revenue
· Lawn care program sales
· Closing percentage
· Customer retention and service quality
· Communication responsiveness
· Attendance and availability.

Educational Requirements

Requirements

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Strong communication and customer service skills (phone, text, email)
· Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of customer interactions
· Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws

Preferred Qualifications:

· Turfgrass degree or related certification
· State pesticide applicator license (current or previous)
· Prior experience in lawn care, pest control, or landscaping industry
· Sales or account management experience
· Knowledge of turf products, services, and application processes
