Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent job

Guest

To whom it may concern,

I am planning on moving to the Houston, TX metro area and plan on furthering my golf course maintenance career there.  I have some experience working in Houston with the Golf Club of Houston.  There, I worked with then Superintendent Randy Samoff preparing the course for the Shell Houston Open during the years of 2011 - 2013.

Currently, I hold a Superintendent position at an 18 hole municipal course in the Buffalo, NY area.  Here, I have specialized in bringing the course from deplorable conditions into on of the top ranked courses in the Western New York area in just five seasons with a limited crew of 6 and a limited budget as well.

I have experience working with both high budgeted courses/clubs with ample staff and also courses/clubs with extremely limited budgets and staff.  My goal is to improve course conditions while staying on a strict budget.  I have accomplished this at with my current position by taking knowledge from a high budgeted course and implementing the priorities at my current course.  Also, rewriting the chemical program, prioritization of the laborers jobs, and adding 8 acres of "nature areas" on the course that are out of play which we no longer need to maintain at such a high level.

Furthermore, I am very familiar with being my own mechanic and understand the need for a well rounded superintendent who is familiar with all aspects of golf course and clubhouse maintenance.

I am looking forward to moving to the Houston area.  Please contact me with any questions you may have about my resume or past job history.

Regards
