APOGEE is the vision and passion of two highly successful businessmen, Mr. Michael Pascucci & Mr. Stephen Ross. APOGEE is a 1200-acre, high-end, private golf club with country club amenities such as a pool, spa, fitness, racquet sports and fishing. The club is located in Hobe Sound, FL, and will have two clubhouses with world-class food & beverage, 50+ overnight cottages and a state-of-the-art golf performance center. It will be a club without peers in the greater south Florida area. APOGEE’s golf entails three 18-hole golf courses. The West Course, designed by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner, opened in December of 2023. The team of Tom Fazio II & Mike Davis, who also oversee the in-house golf construction team, has designed & built the South Course along with a 55-acre, 360-degree driving range, 5-acre short game area that opened in November of 2024 to rave reviews. There is also a 7-hole (short) Wee Course & a Himalayas-style putting green. The third 18-hole golf course (North Course) has been designed by Kyle Phillips. The clearing phase for the North Course has already commenced with a target opening of late 2025. A second Short Course (12-hole) is also in the clearing phase & will open in late 2025. This position is for our South Course, designed by Tom Fazio II & Mike Davis, opened in November 2024. We welcome candidates looking to plant themselves in something great right out of school, candidates looking to make jump up & even candidates with little bermudagrass knowledge. Candidates must be detail orientation, a self starter, a leader & not afraid to be a voice in the GCM Department. Club-provided housing is available. Working with the Director of Golf Courses & Grounds, Superintendents & Assistants, we are excited to welcome interns & AITs for the 2025 year in which we will have our Hanse/Wagner designed West Course open, Davis/Fazio Course open, along with 7-hole Wee Course, Himalayas putting green & 55 acre driving range. We are also in the clearing & shaping phase of the Kyle Phillips designed North Course AND we have also broken ground on our Short course which will consist of 60 acres & 12 holes. The Fazio/Davis course recently opened along with the main driving range that encompasses over 55acres, has 360* of tee space, 7 acres of short game area & will be regarded as one of the finest practice facilities in the country. All courses have been blanketed with TifTuf turf & TifEagle greens. Rainbird IC irrigation will be utilized on all courses along with John Deere equipment. The West Course Turf Care Facility is now fully operational & construction of the East Turf Care Facility has begun construction with an opening date of late summer 2025. The club is also in the process of constructing 2 clubhouses, 50+ cottages, spa/fitness center & will also have fishing, tennis, walking trails & pickleball. We are looking for interns/AITs to assist & provide input to all levels of the operation. If you to experience all levels of golf course maintenance, from construction, to grow-in to high level maintenance, you'd be hard pressed to find a property in the country where you could experience these phases all in the same week. Apogee is currently in the construction phase with plans to construct three, 18-hole golf courses, two short courses, a Himalayas-style putting green & two driving ranges over 1200 acres. The West Course, designed by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner has just recently opened & construction of the 50+ acre driving range & South Course has already begun. The golf courses will be designed by Hanse Golf Design (West Course), Fazio & Davis Golf Design (South Course) & Kyle Phillips Golf Design (North Course). The main driving range encompasses over 50acres, has 360* of tee space, 7 acres of shortgame area & will be regarded as one of the finest practice facilities in the country.
