    First regional trade show, hot to go: Winding up with the hole of the donut

    Shortly after popping $6,000 for a new popup booth display, in 1995 Peter McCormick drove the six hours from New Jersey to the NYSTA show in Rochester, NY. Full of vim and vigor, piss and vinegar and ready to sell, sell, sell, he experienced his first minor setback when he had to drive home afterwards empty-handed. One of many learning experiences!
