In this TurfNet University Webinar, Nathaniel Mitkowski, Ph.D., of the University of Rhode Island discusses how to manage against nematodes in the post-Nemacur era. This presentation will include background on the various types of nematodes that affect golf course turf, primarily cool-season grasses. Other topics include the various organic and alternative products available today, regional differences in nematodes and control options, virulence of nematode species, susceptibility of different turfgrasses and practical approaches that can less the impact of nematode effects on golf course putting greens.
