Frank S. Rossi, Ph.D., of Cornell University discusses the causes of winter-related damage and what golf course superintendents can do to stem the tide of damage. His presentation also includes preparing for winter in late summer and early fall and will cover all aspects of turf management, including fertility, PGR use, and mowing and irrigation practices. He also provides research-based solutions on avoiding and minimizing winter kill, dessication and winter pathogens.
