Working on a public course in Alaska for the past 9+ years has enabled me to become more innovative and multi-faceted. I worked my way from greenskeeper to assistant superintendent while doing everything in between. I'm looking for a new challenge in my life where I can expand my knowledge and work with equally motivated individuals.
The sudden departure of my boss in Sept. 2016 forced all the responsibilities of getting the course ready for winter onto me. I acted as interim superintendent for the next 4 months. I have a turfgrass management certification from the University of Georgia and I did a 3 month internship at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ. I have experience spraying, fertilizing, topdressing, aerating, irrigation programming and repair, grinding and adjusting reels, and operating various equipment such as all mowers, backhoes, trenchers, tractors, loaders, skid-steers, and forklifts.
I urge you to look at my resume for additional information and feel free to contact me if there are any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.
