I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and submit my resume for consideration for positions located in Connecticut. The sum of my experiences, along with my strong work ethic, provides me with the general knowledge and tools necessary to be a valuable contributor to your team. I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a time for us to discuss my resume. Thank you for your time and consideration!
Experienced greenskeeper with a Bachelors in Horticulture specializing in Turfgrass Management from North Dakota State University. Looking for an Assistant Superintendent position in Minnesota. Skilled in Golf, Microsoft Office, and Customer Service. I strive to gain knowledge and expertise from my mentors in order to provide the best possible playing conditions everyday.
Highly motivated U.S. Army vet ready to find the golf course I can take great pride in. Looking for an opportunity to show my strength and abilities in turf management. Very excited to continue to learn and teach in this career.
I graduated from Hanover College with a degree in Plant Biology, and have worked at a golf course for the last three years. I’ve been the assistant superintendent for the last year and a half at Hawks Tail Golf Course. I have worked heavily on irrigation/irrigation maintenance, chemical application, and general course maintenance. I am quick to learn and adapt easily to whatever is thrown my way, and I work well under pressure. I am a reliable, hard working and self motivated worker and would be an asset to any course/ superintendent.
My name is Zachary Odell. I am currently seeking an Assistant-In-Training position beginning January 20, 2023 with a team that can help me grow and learn to better myself in the golfing industry. In turn this will help me reach my unlimited golf of becoming a Superintendent. I'm currently employed at Stonington Country Club in Stonington Connecticut as the 2nd Assistant Golf Professional, but I am looking for something more in the golfing world. I have begun small steps within my current club by learning how to properly maintain the landscaping equipment, and how to properly function as a well-oiled team. I am looking to be presented with opportunities that will not only teach me but challenge me to push myself in a face passed environment. Having played high levels hockey and lacrosse in high school, I am used to being pushed and relied upon by my teammates to always do my best and strive for excellence. I am currently in the process of finishing my Commercial Junior Operator Certificate and I am hoping to begin schooling for Turfgrass and Agronomy in the next year. I believe that I am an asset to any grounds crew because I am extremely skilled in communicating to solve problems, a very hard worker, and a great team player.
Thank you for your time,
