I have worked in the Golf Course Industry most of my life since the age of 18, first as an equipment operator. Growing up in a farm community, I learned early on how to drive a farm tractor, my grandpa's 3-on-the-tree-pickup truck, and how to work on his tractors, truck, and plowing equipment. He taught me a lot and I retained it all, especially after working with him almost every day until dark and during harvest. He even taught me how to break horses, but that's a whole other story in of itself!
I have over 40 years of mechanic background; over half of that has been working for Golf and Country Clubs as a mechanic. Within that 40 years, I have several years experience as an Equipment Manager/Mechanic Supervisor, and I have always taught my assistants how to do my job in order to enhance their skills, including how to weld various types of metals, diagnosis of gasoline and diesel engines, schematics, and proper techniques in reel grinding. From January of 2021 to Christmas of 2022, I worked as a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic throughout the Midwest, Northeastern and Southeastern United States; from January of 2023 to the Present, I have been doing mobile mechanic service in my community for local farmers and ranchers, plus working as a handyman, ranch hand, and assisting farmers with their hay harvesting, besides working part time as the mechanic at a 9 Hole Golf Course 40 minutes from my home.
I was raised in a BIG wonderful family and taught how to respect others, how to work on our own vehicles, and why it is so important to show integrity in all that we do. My integrity is evident in my work ethic: I believe in giving my 110% and I strive to do my very BEST in everything I do, living my life accordingly.
