Another Rockbottum Prediction Comes True

Just over 11 years ago, this short film from Rockbottum CC suggested someone would eventually make an attempt at "Certification of Crew Workers".

Let's see . . . 10,000 courses X 5 crew workers= 50,000 X $370=A Bazillion + a membership fee X 50,000 and a few trips to the big convention, hotels, per diem.  I think Buddy was on to something.

They might have to change convention locations to handle the larger numbers.  I would suggest Burning Man, but there's no signage or irrigation and the members are weird.

Randy I agree.

Strangely these days their appears to be a growing trend where the qualification of an individual is unnecessarily linked to the necessity of being a card carrying AAA++.A1 member of the "certified" class with a provable history of "liked" online engagement.  (Instead of just presenting one's CV and the good word of one's past mentor, to use a fellow old-timers "PhD" term. )

Just because an individual went to an online cooking school and shows lots of liked content (possibly AI generated) of their food - it does not necessarily make the food good or them a chef.

Thank goodness for the new magical filter powers the online content gods have given us to screen the fluff out (I think they call those amalgo-rhythm's) so now we can only get what we want to see like Bulldawg videos or uploads of then assistant professor Dr. Karnock's class notes to read.

Would you please pass the hot sauce down this way this plate is way under seasoned......
