Here are a few pictures I took on my phone over the past weeks. Never got around to posting them so here they are.

Coring of weak areas on collars that were seeded, sanded, sprayed with fungicide and fertilizer, and watered. No more triplex mowing on them, just walk mowers. Areas caused by walking greens mower turns and roller stopping.

Walk mowing of fairway weak areas. Feels strange to be using a walk mower on a fairway.

A hydraulic leak on a fairway from a mower. No damage to the turf other than a little color change. All okay now.

Long rough makes for easier maintenance as less mowing is needed. This also makes a decent hay for the animals on the farm. Only some long rough cut to make room for the car park and spectator viewing areas.

This front greenside bunker on hole six floods regularly making the bunker unplayable and hard. We spent one day adding another layer of boards and added sand to help with flooding.

A large thunder storm hit the course Friday afternoon and night causing washouts to bunkers and the road ditch. We filled in the washouts with some more gravel, hoping this will reduce the washouts for future rain.

Disposal of chemical containers is not as simple as sending it to a recycling center. Some containers go into general recycling while others are part of the AGRecovery program. Participating brands are on this sheet.
