Green Tee Golf Project Manager About Us: Founded in 2010, Green Tee Golf is a golf course construction and renovation contractor headquartered in Augusta, GA. Our client base is spread throughout the Southeastern United States, to include: GA, NC, SC, TN, KY, and FL. A majority of our projects are in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We are looking for hardworking, adaptable, highly detailed, and driven project managers that are motivated and willing to learn our methodology and processes to expand our team. Description: The on-site project manager is the primary point of contact for the project. They are expected to understand the scope and timeline of the work to be completed, and communicate with multiple parties to execute the project to the highest standard. Three key skills or abilities a project manager should possess: communication, leadership and organization. Key Responsibilities Plan project startup/mobilization Manage a crew of 10-30 Coordinate and schedule all phases of a project on a daily, weekly, and monthly level to ensure project is completed in accordance with previously determined timeline Maintain a professional appearance and communicate professionally (both written and verbally) Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe manner Coordinate equipment repairs, facilitate regular equipment maintenance Effectively and professionally communicate with all parties involved with project (both internal and external) Complete all administrative duties in a timely manner (billing, time-sheets, daily progress reports, equipment rental, material purchasing, change orders) Review contract documents and discuss design specifics with architects, superintendents, owners, etc. Understand the scope of work and what is needed to complete project in accordance with previously determined timeline Order, track, and manage stockpiles of material Ensure all “punch-list” items are completed and meet or exceed clients’ expectations prior to demobilization Quality Control: ensure all tasks are performed with an extreme attention to detail and meet Green Tee Golf’s standard Assist with labor tasks as necessary Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Stand and work outside in all seasons and weather conditions Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Broad knowledge of golf course construction/renovation processes Feature construction: Tees, Greens, Bunkers Irrigation Sod Installation Surveying/Staking/layout Earthwork Drainage Proficient in MS Office Suite Equipment Knowledge Broad knowledge/ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment including, but not limited to: Sod Cutters, Plate Compactors, Jumping Jacks, and miscellaneous other small engines Farm Tractors Skidsteers Front end loaders Excavators Utility vehicles Trenchers Delegation/Crew Management Ability to plan and assign work to crew leaders Ensure milestones and deadlines are met on time Adapt and react to changes in scope and timeline Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail Continuously review plan, adapt and make changes in order to adhere to timeline Green Tee Golf considers ourselves extremely lucky to get to work in the places we do.
