The Club has been built on the enduring principals of the past, a new but old-fashioned golf club dedicated to the simplicity and authenticity of the game of golf and some of Iowa's key values, humility, hard work, honesty, integrity and helping one another. After undergoing a full golf course renovation in 2018 with Golf Architect Keith Foster, the club has continued to thrive and grow each year, the golf course has matured, and a standard has been established for our maintenance team to adhere to year after year. We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Field Superintendent to join our team at Lawn Capital in Decatur, GA. This position is crucial for the upkeep of athletic fields, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for all. The Athletic Field Superintendent will perform a variety of tasks including supervising and being involved with mowing, spraying, fertilizing, aerating, overseeding, field renovation and construction, irrigation and drainage, daily record keeping at each of our three athletic facilities. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring that all areas are well-kept and safe for users. The successful candidate will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. We currently have three athletic facilities in different stages of construction, renovation, and daily maintenance requirements. Duties Perform primary and cultural turf practices. Assist with drainage maintenance, irrigation troubleshooting, and general landscape repairs as needed. Follow daily work schedules, respond to emails, and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Maintain a proactive approach to athletic field maintenance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problems. Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to optimize field conditions. Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

We are a growing company looking to expand our construction services. This individual will assist in the oversight and management of our portfolio of construction projects. Travel is required for this position throughout, but not limited, to the state of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of golf course construction, inputs, and maintenance.
