Job Summary: We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organized individual to join our team as the Head Golf Pro at Breakers West. As the Head Golf Pro, you will be responsible for leading our Golf Operations department and ensuring the smooth functioning of our prestigious country club. Your primary duties will include organizing and running golf tournaments for both outside groups and members, managing the Pro Shop, overseeing daily tee sheet and starter responsibilities, as well as hiring, supervising, training, coaching, and developing all outside operations and Pro Shop personnel. Previous experience in the Golf Operations industry is required. Responsibilities: - Organize and run golf tournaments for outside groups and members, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants. - Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, including inventory management, customer service, and sales. - Oversee the daily tee sheet and starter duties to ensure efficient and timely tee times for golfers. - Hire, supervise, train, coach, and develop all outside operations and Pro Shop personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment. - Collaborate with other departments, including the Golf Course Maintenance team, to ensure the overall success of the golf operations. - Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the golfing experience for our members and guests. - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns raised by members or guests promptly and professionally. Qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Golf Operations industry, preferably in a leadership role. - Proven track record of successfully organizing and running golf tournaments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members, guests, and staff. - Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work. - Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in using golf management software and computer systems. - PGA Professional Membership is required.
