Senior Parks Maintenance Worker (Multiple Vacancies) City of Santa Cruz $27.20 - $38.28 Hourly $4,714.00 - $6,635.00 Monthly The City of Santa Cruz has multiple full-time vacancies for Senior Parks Maintenance Worker in the Parks and Recreation Department. The current vacancies are in the following assignments: Neighborhood Parks, Community and Regional Parks, and Golf Course. Under general supervision, the Senior Parks Maintenance Worker performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the development and maintenance of City parks and recreational facilities; and to do related work as required. Minimum requirements include High School diploma or tested equivalent, and two years of experience developing and maintaining public parks and recreational facilities or similar grounds and facilities. For positions assigned to the Golf Course, at least one of the two years of experience must be in golf course maintenance. All applicants must possess and maintain a valid California Class C driver's license. Additionally, golf course positions require possession of a California certified commercial applicator's license, Category B, by end of the probationary period and continued maintenance of that license.
