Westchester is currently working on a Master Plan for the entire club. Located equidistant to both San Antonio and Austin, Luling Texas offers the perfect site to bring a world class golf course to central Texas. Both golf courses are currently being built on an over 1500 acre property, surrounded by working cattle ranches, and have natural barrancas flowing throughout. Ultimately the livestock will roam fenced areas throughout the golf courses and their many  pasture lands creating a picturesque environment for golf.    The membership will be largely national and is expected to be invitation-only with less than 10,000 rounds. Course #1 has been designed by Kyle Franz while the OCM (Ogilvy, Cocking, and Mead) team are currently designing course #2. Both courses, while possessing vastly different designs, will blend modern architecture with the Texas Hill Country landscape and provide the firm and fast conditions expected of a world class golf course. The club additionally will add a driving range and short course to be completed after the initial two courses.  Luling is looking for highly motivated, team-oriented individuals with a goal of advancing in the turf industry. In 1974, the Club welcomed its first member and, now with a thriving membership, it offers many sporting and dining amenities, including the choice of playing on any of its six 18-hole championship golf courses.    About the Golf Courses: The six 18-hole golf courses, all with different designs, offer challenges for the novice to the accomplished golfer and were designed by Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, Arthur Hills , and Willard C. Byrd. Over the six courses, there is an array of warm-season grasses, including TifEagle, TifGrand, Celebration, 419, Zorro, Zeon, Empire, El Toro, and Platinum, and cool season Perennial Ryegrass. Four independent maintenance facilities are located on the property, and the Club has recently partnered with John Deere on a 4-year lease agreement.  The Club prides itself on continuous improvement and has a long-term capital plan comprising all future golf course renovations. NGM Inc is responsible for maintaining Miacomet Golf Course and Siasconset Golf Course, the only public golf courses on Nantucket Island, MA.  Miacomet is a semi private 18 hole resort style golf course open year round, and Siasconset is a 9 hole seasonal operation.  Since 2014 Miacomet has been ranked the #2 public golf course in the state and both courses have been awarded course of the year by the NGCOA.  Miacomet prides itself on world class conditions while handling a high volume of rounds with a fast paced work environment, and Siasconset is a smaller operation while still striving for championship conditions.  This position will be an integral part of the management team and will be involved in all aspects of the operation, working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant on a daily basis.  Their main responsibilities will involve; irrigation, spraying, supervising and training employees, project management, crew leadership, scheduling and record keeping   Miacomet will be renovating the practice green in the fall of '25 and is in middle of ongoing bunker renovation.  Siasconset installed a new well/ pump system in the spring of '24 and is planning an irrigation project and tee renovation for the winter of '25/26.
