Nemacolin, is home to two championship Pete Dye designs in Mystic Rock and Shepherd's Rock. Mystic Rock was a stop on the PGA Tour Schedule from 2000-2006, hosting the 84 Lumber Classic. Mystic is rated the number one public course in Pennsylvania and is ranked #88 by Golfweek in the Top 200 resort courses in America. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual, to work along side our superintendent and help manage our crew.
Scarsdale Golf Club is a private country club located in Westchester County, New York. Established in 1898.
SGC offers an 18-hole A.W. Tillinghast golf course, practice facilities, tennis/paddle facilities including a new
seasonal tennis enclosure, bowling lanes, pool facility and fitness center.
The 2nd Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and other Assistants in all aspects
of golf course management. The candidate should have a passion for the industry and a willingness to learn
all aspects of the country club business as part of a management team that strives to produce an exceptional
member experience on a daily basis.
The club has invested in several major capital improvement projects in recent years, including a new state of
the art maintenance facility and a new Toro irrigation system that was completed in spring 2024. Many
more golf course improvement projects are planned for the coming years. Several former SGC Assistants
have successfully moved on to Superintendent positions in the Met area after their time at the club.
