Maintaining a clean and safe working environment must be a top priority.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regularly inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course & landscape maintenance equipment to ensure proper performance; including mowers, utility carts, tractors, rollers and small-engine tools. Communicates any equipment-related problems, maintenance issues, known safety hazards or unsafe practices to leadership or appropriate department. Sets up, modifies and services cutting equipment as directed; including reel & bedknife grinding. Instructs and/or trains golf course maintenance workers regarding the safe operating procedures and cleaning of equipment.  Checks equipment for performance on the course and makes emergency repairs when needed. Performs other essential duties as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendents such as, but not limited to, daily setup, mowing, fertilizing, spraying and other equipment operation. Assists with recordkeeping, organizing and general maintenance facility cleanliness. Adheres to all Club policies and safety regulations.
