Colonial Dryject is looking for an individual to assist with selling and completing services to new and existing clients. These clients are not limited to golf courses, sports turf, tennis, or residential customers. Since 2009, Colonial DryJect & Turf Services has provided aerification services to golf courses and athletic fields within the New England region. In particular, DryJect aerification is our primary service provided. DryJect is a sand and soil amendment injection system used mostly on golf greens and approaches. Additionally, we provide deeptine and core aeration services, as well as core aeration cleanup, greens and fairway verticutting services, slice seeding services and topdressing. Our customer list is growing, and with that, our range of services provided will also continue to grow. We are looking for a dynamic individual will strong communication skills and the ability to meet and effectively converse with new people on a daily basis. The right candidate should have experience operating various types of aerification equipment, driving pickup trucks, and pulling trailers. We are looking for an individual to grow with our company. Upward mobility towards management assistance is anticipated with the right individual as you build your own client list. These individuals should have ambition to provide quality service to our clients. You will be hired to sell any and all new work, primarily, you will be hired to sell 2-3 man jobs. This sales representative will be required to learn how to effectively operate all of the different equipment in our fleet. You will be required to operate equipment as needed on all contract work. Our busiest seasons are spring and fall. We generally start mid-late March, go strong through mid-June. Late June through the first week in August is very slow. Early August until ground freeze in Mid December is extremely busy, particularly from Columbus Day through Thanksgiving is big. Mid December through mid-March is repair season, vacation season, and sales season. Our shop is located in Plymouth, MA off of old exit 5. Minimum job requirements: · Experience operating tractors and PTO driven attachments, and pedestrian equipment · Experience directing work crews · Outside sales experience · Truck and trailer pulling skills · Effective computer skills · Valid driver's license · Mechanically inclined · Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance; up to 150 pounds with assistance · Ability to sit or stand for at least 60 minutes · Strong customer service skills · Must be able to work independently · Must be able to pass a background check, including a drug screen.
