We're hiring a Head Mechanic  at The Lodge of Four Seasons, located in Lake Ozarks, MO. The property consists of two 18-Hole Golf Courses, The Cove and The Ridge. The Cove is open year-round (weather permitting), and The Ridge is open from May to October. The courses are two miles from each other, and both have a Clubhouse. The responsibility of the Mechanic is to assist in maintaining the excellent playing condition of the golf course. The Mechanic will perform major and minor mechanical repairs on a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment under the general direction of the Superintendent. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 1-3 years Mechanic experience Knowledge of small engine repair or automotive Must have excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills Will train the right mechanic if person has no reel grinding skills Knowledge in hydraulic systems Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starter Must be able to work with an assistant superintendent Responsibilities: Conduct and effective preventative maintenance program in conjunction with operators to reduce mechanical failure and poor performance on all golf course equipment Repair of all golf course maintenance equipment Keep repair records on all equipment Maintain a clean shop area and keep it orderly and efficient Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is often required to stand, walk, push, pull, lift grasp, bend and kneel for hours at a time without sitting. The employee frequently is required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, crawl, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to ensure that landscapes are installed according to design specifications. The Laborer will work under the direction of the Landscape Install Foreman and as part of a team to create high-quality outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare job sites for installation by clearing debris, grading soil, and marking areas according to project plans. - Assist with the installation of trees and plant material, digging, banding and staking, installation of landscape edging, mulching, tear out and laying of new sod, tear outs of unwanted landscape material and tree relocations, etc. - Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites. - Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus. - Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment, such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and small machinery. - Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing waste, debris, and unused materials. - Assist in the final cleanup and detailing of completed projects. - Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
