Project Manager – Eastern Division Environmental Design Inc. Company Overview Environmental Design Inc. (EDI) is known as the leader in large tree transplanting and custom growing. Headquartered in Texas with offices across the U.S., we specialize in moving, growing, and installing mature trees for some of the most recognized landscapes in the world. We sell time — by providing mature landscapes today. Our work spans the finest golf courses, luxury resorts, private estates, corporate campuses, and universities. Every project we take on reflects decades of experience, craftsmanship, and a relentless focus on doing the job right the first time. Job Summary This role is about execution, leadership, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager ensures each project runs smoothly from start to finish — on time, on budget, and to EDI’s standards of excellence. You’ll manage the details that make extraordinary projects possible, balancing logistics, schedules, budgets, and client communication with field execution. Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Track project progress and costs, and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams. Coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects moving forward. Identify and solve problems before they become roadblocks. Ensure safety and quality standards are met on every site. Lead with accountability, clarity, and professionalism. Qualifications Proven experience managing projects in construction, landscape, or heavy equipment environments. Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, construction science, turfgrass management, or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Willing and able to travel as needed to project sites. Desired Skills Ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities. A calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure. Team-first mentality and strong attention to detail. Familiarity with project management tools or scheduling software is a plus. Why EDI This is an opportunity to join a team that operates at the highest level of its craft. You’ll manage projects that will be admired for generations — working alongside people who take pride in doing exceptional work. If you’re motivated by precision, accountability, and seeing results you can stand behind, EDI is where you’ll thrive.
