Position Overview: This person will be training with current superintendent the remainder of the 2025 season and taking over as superintendent in 2026. Individual must be an experienced Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career.  Primary Responsibilities: · Direct all aspects of turf grass maintenance and daily operations for Quarry Ridge Golf Course. · Develop and implement comprehensive agronomic plans aligned with seasonal and long-term goals. · Lead, mentor, and manage a skilled maintenance team, including the Assistant Superintendent and seasonal staff. · Collaborate with ownership  to enhance course conditions and customer experience. · Oversee irrigation system operation, scheduling, troubleshooting and repair · Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards related to pesticide applications and environmental practices. Must have license. · Operate within a set budget and assist in long-range planning for equipment and infrastructure needs. · Must have some mechanical knowledge

The AIT position will serve a crucial role in the Golf Course Maintenance Department.    Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily golf course maintenance, including mowing, fertilizing, irrigation, and pesticide applications.   Stoney Creek Golf Course, located in Westminster, Colorado is seeking a Superintendent In-Training to join our golf course maintenance team. The Superintendent In-Training position is designed to provide the individual with experience and training so they may advance to the Golf Course Superintendent position.  The Superintendent In-Training performs a broad range of maintenance activities including, but not limited to, equipment operation, agronomic product applications, special projects, limited supervision, and administrative and record keeping duties. Key Responsibilities: ·        Assist with all aspects of daily course and driving range maintenance including mowing. ·        Utilize effective water management techniques, including hand watering and other methods. ·        Monitor turf conditions, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and overall course health. ·        Perform accurate application of fertilizers and chemicals, ensuring proper calibration and safe application techniques. ·        Participate in daily course setup, including adjusting hole and tee placements and performing detailed maintenance tasks. ·        Be responsible for overseeing topdressing and aerification when needed. ·        Assist with maintenance and operation of the irrigation system, including repairs of irrigation heads, pipe issues, and troubleshooting. ·        Operate and train staff in the proper usage and maintenance of all golf course equipment. ·        Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team. About Stoney Creek Golf Course: ·        Stoney Creek is a 9-hole executive course, 6 par threes and 3 par fours. ·        Equipment: Primarily Toro with other assorted brands ·        Irrigation system:  Toro Lynx with smart satellites Position requirements:   Minimum of two years work experience in golf course maintenance.
