Framingham Country Club is an Orrin Smith/William Mitchell designed 18 hole private country club located outside of the metro Boston area. In April 2024, after a maintenance building fire in 2022, we completed a $1.5 million upgrade of our equipment fleet and a new $1.5 million maintenance compound including a 5,000 sq. foot storage building and dedicated chemical and fertilizer storage buildings.  The club is scheduled to host a 2026 Massachusetts Amateur Championship qualifier this June, the 2027 Massachusetts Four Ball Championship, and the 2030 Massachusetts Mid Amateur Championship.  The club is installing XGD internal drainage in 3 greens this October,  The club developed a Master Plan with Hepner Golf Design in 2010, completed a bunker renovation project in 2013, and is now planning an in-house renovation of bunker surrounds with the installation of new bunker sand over the next few years.  Starting the summer of 2027 the club will be installing a new $4.5 million dollar Toro irrigation system and a proposed $1 million dollar practice area renovation.  The club is continuing our aggressive tree pruning and removal program along with ongoing cart path renovations.  We are expecting to continue tee complex renovations over the next few seasons.  In the long term the club is beginning the process of engineering new pond spillways and the permitting process for pond dredging of our on-course and irrigation ponds. We have a lot going on at the club however this is not a seven day a week job.  We believe in a work environment that fosters a good work/life balance and are continuing to build our staff to make that happen.  The successful candidate will learn how to build a maintenance program, develop a budget and the budget approval process, how to successfully manage a small team, and any other tasks they request.  You will be trained to be an Assistant Superintendent because even though we believe in promoting from within we also recognize people sometimes leave for better opportunities.  For the right individual this could be a great opportunity for personal and professional growth.

About Us Maverick Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Assistant in Training to join the Golf Course Maintenance Department.  Located in Fort Worth, TX, Maverick is the newest property in the Discovery Land Company portfolio.  The facility is set to open fall of 2026, and will be comprised of a Fazio designed 18 hole championship course, a 9 hole par 3 course, and state of the art practice facility and short game area.  Following the completion of the aforementioned, an additional 12 holes will be built during the final phase of the project.  The turf selections are robust in nature, and aim to offer a wide variety of playing surfaces.  On the championship course, the USGA greens be equipped with hydronics and subair, and will be seeded with 007XL bentgrass,  The tee’s and fairways will be comprised of stadium zoysia, while the roughs will be zeon zoysia.  On the par 3 course, tiff eagle will be utilized on the putting surfaces.  The tee’s, fairways, and rough will sodded with tifftuff bermuda that is overseeded in the fall.   Victoria National Golf Club is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) to join our management team. We are an 18 hole private club with a primarily national membership. Designed by Tom Fazio the course has continuously been ranked in multiple top 100 lists since inception and is currently ranked number one in Indiana. Located in the southwest corner of the state, it’s the only cool-season facility in the region. Greens, tees, and fairways are grassed with L-93 Bentgrass. Our rough is primarily Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass. Dew paths and intermediates are Perennial Ryegrass and HGT Bluegrass. Our turf types combined with our climate provide a unique opportunity to learn elite course presentation in an extremely challenging environment. We are fortunate to have ownership that understands what is needed to maintain a course of our caliber. We are closed annually from late November to early April to perform all turf cultivation practices as well as architectural and construction updates. Position Overview The AIT will work directly with Assistant Superintendents and the Director of Agronomy, and is considered a key member of the management team. Mountain Ridge Country Club, located in West Caldwell, New Jersey, is seeking an enthusiastic assistant-in-training to join our golf course maintenance staff. Mountain Ridge is an 18-hole golf club designed by the well-known architect Donald Ross. Having hosted USGA and LPGA events, Mountain Ridge provides a true test of golf for those who play. May of 2026 and 2027 Mountain Ridge will be hosting the LPGA’s Mizuho America’s Open. 120 of the LPGA’s best players and 24 top-ranked junior golfers will compete on our golf course for the right to be crowned tournament champion. The hired AIT will be expected to assist in structural build out, logistics management of multiple contractors on site, as well as intensive golf course preparation. In Fall of 2027, following tournament golf at MRCC, the course will embark on its renovation guided by golf course architect Andrew Green.  The AIT will collaborate closely with the superintendent and other members of the management staff on all aspects of maintenance operations.
