Northwest Golf Course has an immediate opening for the golf course superintendent position. The course is in great shape and just hosted a successful U.S. Open Qualifying Round. Northwest is an Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuary and is the highest revenue facility in our system. This 27-hole facility was constructed in 1964 when the course length was well ahead of its time as a 7,400-yard championship golf course. The course features bent/poa pushup greens, ryegrass fairways, and hybrid bermudagrass tees. It has a fully lit and heated driving range. Additional course information here: https://www.mcggolf.com/courses/northwest. The superintendent at Northwest will work daily with 2 very knowledgeable, bilingual assistants and a highly tenured equipment manager; these 3 talented individuals “ran the show” last summer for 3 months and did a fantastic job. The predominantly Latino crew has been working together for years and is cross-trained to perform most tasks.
