Golf Course Mechanic, under the supervision of the Head Mechanic and direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, performs and maintains all aspects of vehicle, equipment and cutting reel maintenance. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands, bend and stoop, remain at post standing for periods of time, walk for a long distance, and is required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color and peripheral. The noise level in the shop is usually moderate to loud. Due to the busy nature of a garage, the associate must be able to routinely work well under pressure, remain calm, and be tactful with co-workers.
