Critical Diagnostics & Repairs · Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures in specialized equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines. · Respond to equipment breakdowns on the course and conduct spot checks to ensure operators are using machinery safely and correctly. · Report maintenance defects to Turf Equipment Manager or Supervisor. 2. Precision Turf Equipment Management · Perform precision sharpening, grinding, and adjustment of reels and bedknife to ensure turf is cut to exact superintendent standards. · Grind, sharpen, and height adjust mowing reels. · Inspect and adjust mowers before and after every use. 3. Preventative Maintenance & Shop Operations · Provide maintenance of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment including oil changes and lubrication. · Perform repairs and maintenance to small tools such as edgers and blowers. · Inspect golf carts on a routine basis for preventative maintenance. · Maintain a daily performance log of issues and repairs. · Order parts and maintain inventories. 4. The Club at Crazy Mountain Ranch is looking for hardworking, self-motivated individuals to assist in the construction, grow-in and opening of this premier golf course. The Intern Program will be a tremendous opportunity to experience the construction and grow-in of a highly regarded Coore/Crenshaw designed golf course in the magnificent Montana environment. Interns will be able to learn the many facets of golf course construction and turfgrass grow-in. Candidates will work closely with the Director of Golf Course and Grounds and Assistant Superintendents in the building and eventual maintenance of this 18 hole and Par 3 championship golf course.
